Edit - I'm kidding, of course.

I've seen quite a few Shuler jerseys at games. It's sad, really.

Yikes!

New - Coles or Arrington.

All time classic - Darrell Green 28.

I like the Green Machine idea there. Can't go wrong with Darrell.

If you're going to get an authentic jersey, I wouldn't recommend getting a "new school" player because odds are that he won't be a Redskin forever.....and then you'll be stuck wearing a jersey of a player that moved to another team.

I have a Riggins authentic for that very reason. If course, I also have an authentic "Justice Hog" jersey...but I'm fairly confident I'm never leaving the team.

I, for one, would recommend that you pick your all time "old school" favorite Redskin...and get that jersey.

How 'bout a "Spurrier" #0 or "Gibbs" #04 Jersey?

Or simply a "REDSKINS" #1 Jersey.

Thanks for all your ideas guys!!!

I was thinking Jansen but now am thinking old school.

I never even considered Huff but that's a great one. I'm down to Huff, Jacoby & Riggins.

Might also do Wormer or Woodchuck (two of my imfamous nicknames.)

Jersey ideas...I keep seeing this thread-title, and thinking that it's about the idea to tear down Giants Stadium the the Meadowlands arena and racetrack so the state can build another shopping center. Jersey ideas...usually bad ones, involving large construction contracts.

But no.

You have a great final three, but you'll have a hard time finding a jersey in the style that Huff wore. Same with Sonny J, Larry Brown, Bobby Mitchell, or Charlie Taylor.

That leaves the new old school. Well, toss a coin. Both are great choices. Maybe pick against Riggins because everyone used to have Riggins jerseys. But an offensive lineman, now that's something special...something special enough that the Redskins were the first to have a nickname for the OL...
