Thanks man, that was a typo.

Seriously man, I'm just done with your downer posts at this point. We're going to the playoffs.
SJ is still butt hurt at how wrong he has been all season and he wasn't able to see the potential in Cousins that many of us did throughout the year. There were others as well; some have eaten their crow (sort of) while others are not.
Oh -- and we beat them up and down the field last night. We controlled them on offense and DEF played strong as well. We didn't "find a way to win". We beat them playing our game.

Jerry Smith was the finest pass-catching TE in Redskin history, I would argue. That year, he led the team with 12 TD catches. Raise your hand if you think...no, if you are certain that Jerry Smith should be in the Hall of Fame. Remember the season when Charley Taylor, Bobby Mitchell, and Jerry Smith finished first, second, and fourth in receptions?

you're absolutely right on both counts ...riggofan wrote:... Coming off a timeout, there shouldn't have been any confusion about the play. That's happened too frequently with the team this year, and that's on the coaches. Cousins obviously has to know to spike the ball

Do I need to eat crow? I was hard on Kirk when he was playing like *sh$t*, and have been a pretty adamant supporter as he progresses. I never posted any "what would Griffin have done.." After a tough loss though. I did ask for equal criticism when he was floundering.. idk
Kirk is the motha fvckn MAN!!! He is looking like Breezy Brady (hell even Brady couldn't beat the Fecals like Kirk did!!) And is really maturing into a top ten qb. I was bitter about HOW, but never questioned why
Serve it up, medium rare, so we can move on!! I'll eat that mother gladly as I cheer for the squad during our playoff run and beyond!!!
Do I need to change my avatar???? LOL

You won't have to worry any starters for this last game..Howdy Doody benched
all his starters during the Buffalo game, so your pretty much playing against the
scrubs Sunday

It was far worse than the lashing I took when I didn't think Campbell was a quality starter back in 2008. On a side note, there is a guy on extremeskins that calls himself "veryoldschool" and is also an enormous Cousins fan. This poster has now been getting props every which way. I wonder if they are the same dude with the same Cousins obsession......

Cousins has stated that he made a mistake in not spiking the ball - stupid, there's no excuse .... and, it's over

That being said, they're all saying they actually WANT to lose the game for an elevated draft pick. As a fan of a team that is in this particular position quite frequently, I don't see that as the way to go, but everyone is talking about how they hope that is how the game pans out....... and my DAL fan friends are constantly saying how DAL needs to draft a replacement for Romo THIS draft....... I'm personally not sure about that only because there is nobody out there, but hey as a skins fan --- GO FOR IT!!!! Draft a QB in the first round!!!! Better yet, TRADE UP!!!

I'll be happy to give OLDSCHOOL props on Cousins. But I will say he was insufferable while Griffin was the starter. I think the team and fans (myself included) were completely justified in wanting to give Robert a chance to develop and hoping that he would get it together. Calling for the #2 pick in the draft to be benched in year 2 just wasn't flying.

we should have won a number of games this season whether we were 'favored' to or not makes no difference
we beat the eagles all over the place because they are badly coached and played terrible football on both sides of the ball

If the HC isn't smart enough to put a healthy body, then the player has to protect themselves. Fans want it both ways. They like to b*tch and moan about a player getting needlessly hurt, yet they b*tch and moan about a player preserving their long-term health/career.
