Culiver Out For The Season?

Post by Burgundy&GoldForever »

The Washington Redskins have lost a key cog in their secondary.

Chris Culliver, who started six games for the Redskins this season, tore his ACL and MCL at the Redskins' Thanksgiving practice, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed of his prognosis.
“He was at that time the smartest player in the league. We did everything we could to try to eliminate him from the play. We knew if we didn’t neutralize him, then we had less of a chance of winning.” - John Hannah on Chris Hanburger

I'm not as knowledgeable as you are but IMO this means this player is on IR and that means there's no question ...

Culliver is out for the season - trust me on this
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

At the time of the original post it had only just been reported. There was no MRI result, no official statement from the team, and no IR designation. Rather than editorializing I only posted what was reported.

Knowledge has nothing whatsoever to do with the post. I'll thank you to stop making everything personal.

Damn that stinks. Bad enough to get injured, but sucks to do it at practice.

Hall is fully healthy though right? I think him and Breeland make a formidable duo, I know Hall was taking snaps at safety though... Probably still a weak link with Johnson underwhelming this season.

Keenan Robinson is supposed to be returning, and that is as big as losing Culliver IMO.. our mlb have been garbage
