Gardner & Betts for Ogunleye??

Post by Skinsane1 »

With Ogunleye still on the free agent market and the Dolphins current offensive needs, i think that this would be a good trade for the Redskins.

Now the only thing that iam worried about is what happens if Coles toes gets worse. We have McCants, Thrash, and Jacobs to rely on, but that won't be good enough i feel.

Also making enough cap room to sign Ogunleye will be tough but it can be done.

At RB i think we will be fine with Sultan,Rock, and Morton behind Portis. Betts hasn't shown much except being injured most of the time.

It will be interesting to see what happens because i believe that Ogunleye will continue to hold out and force the Dolphins to make a deal.

YES! That is a great offer but their is no chance in hell the Dolphins would do that trade I dont think unfortuntely! Betts cant stay healthy! Gardner drops way to many balls! But the Dolphins defintely need a WR! Losing Boston for the year and some other guy for the year

I agree that might be a good trade, But I dont see the Dolphins going for it. now with Iffy gone we need a player with a last name that just rolls off the tongue...Lol.. HTTR

The thing is... they already have a Betts... his name is Travis Minor... so your basically giving them Gardner for Ogylolinglulah...... which isn't really probably isn't enough for them.... if this deal ever went down... it would probably have to involve a pick....

I don't want to give up Gardner. Something tells me he's gonna have a monster year.

he could have a good year, but if mccants was getting his reps, he'd do just as good, if not better, than gardner this year.

the trade won't happen unless we slide a pick in there, i'm sure. i definately wouldn't want to lose a 1st or 2nd pick and gardner for ogun...IMO

Keep Gardner...last game when he ran that quick turn in, came back for the ball in front on Champ, and made the catch for the first down, that play reminded me so much of what Art Monk used to do...(I reserve the right to change my opinion however...)

Pull the trigger on this. However, I have to agree that I've got a feeling about this year for Gardner. Send Betts though. 2 camps in a row being injured? :?

I would say send the first round pick with Betts, but I know how protective fans are of 1st round picks. Still, he's proven, Betts and next years #1 are not!
