The Washington Redskins on Thursday re-signed defensive lineman Chris Baker to a three-year contract worth $12 million, including $4 million guaranteed.
Baker's agents, Tony Paige and Chitta Mallik, confirmed the deal to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
The Redskins had labeled Baker, who could be in line to start, a priority this offseason.
Could be in line? I should hope so, that's starter money.

Re: Baker three year deal
60% of our snaps were out of nickel last year with 4 down linemen. Even if he's not "starting", he'll start.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

Take out the UTBE incentives and it's more like 3 years, $9M deal.... still starter money!

Re: Baker three year deal
There's been some chatter that the 'skins expect Baker to take a big step this year... this sounds like money to back that up...
