Camp boo boos

Post by BossHog »

Well if it wasn't for all of the great people i met this trip... it truly could have been a disaster. And I just wanted to throw out an apology.

My digi camera got destroyed in the monsoon and I was unable to take and post photos from camp... for that, I am truly sorry. Photo Hog snapped off hundreds of photos on the 35mm and I'll get some of them posted as soon as I can. We had intended to post pics every day but it just wasn't in the cards.

I also wanted to do reports every day, but truthfully, it was getting hard to continue to report the same things again and again and again. Camp was designed this way this year. You couldn't watch the defense practice AT ALL as they were too far away, and all of the offensive drills were very vanilla. Word out of Redskins Park is that the closed practices are where all the real work is happening, we watched nothing but ST drills and very vanilla package 7 on 7's and 11 on 11s. We still had a blast, but it was definitely hard to put together a report that was any different than the day before's.

Again, I apologize. I did manage to open quite a few doors though, and they are doors that will improve what we as a site can do to help you all bleed burgundy and gold a little harder.

Please don't begrudge me... I'm just trying to do everything I can while simultaneously maintaining my sanity.

Stay tuned for some great Photo Hog pics coming your way as soon as I can get them processed, developed, digitized, optimized and posted.

I should also be getting some photos back this week I will add to the pot. Hopefully some good shots.

Sorry to hear about your camera - I just thought you got drenched, not the camera.

Boss, its not a problem. Anything that you have done is more than adequate. I thank you for posting what you can since I can't be there. If it wasn't for you I'd have nothing at all to read, so even the little bit that was worth writing was great to read.

Thanks for all of your efforts. Its good to see that you safely made it back.

If anyone is worried about missing anything from the other days, Just re-read the ones that are there and fill in the appropriate day number. It really was the same thing over and over and over.

Sorry about that Boss. At least you were able to get past border patrol twice. No matter how long it took.
