I think that MS needs to put his foot into the rear end of the player that texted Schefter. Shanny told the team, and one of them texted Adam to let him know. I think that is why RG3 tweeted about it, to clarify that he is still ok. But, much of the competitive advantage is gone now, as the Browns can sleep a bit easier tonight. Unless it is a farce!!??

I wish RG3 was healthy, but I am curious about what the offense will look like with a less athletic QB. Will it be a more traditional offense? Any run option plays? Will Kirk line up in the pistol formation?

It'll be an interesting game. I hope we pull this off.

Any chance "Cousins to start" is a bit of deception, with RG3 taking the field later?

I would hate for Mara to find another reason to take money or picks from us.

All I saw was that Cousins will start, not that RG3 wouldn't play. Cousins starting doesn't prevent Rex from playing (if active).

We won't know until around noon tomorrow when the teams reveal their inactives.

I highly doubt Griffin is inactive. I also highly doubt that revealing this information tonight was not a calculated move on MS's part.

He wants the Browns to know Cousins is starting otherwise he could have achieved the same results waiting to tell the team tomorrow.

Since it came to Schefter from an unnamed source and since no official spokesperson for the skins has said anything I don't see how it would be a violation of league rules IMO.

That is a very good point my friend I always forget that I have to take MaraLaFaira into consideration in situations like this.

RGIII will NOT suit up.... Sexy Rex is the backup.

All I know is we better not be on a one game losing streak at 5pm today. Get it done, Back up.
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

Come on Cousins. Turn this into a starting job for yourself, and a 1st or 2nd round pick for us.
Miss you 21

Heard the same about his fodder.

Maybe this is part of the idea. The Browns sleep easier. They relax a little. We sleep knowing the next day requires maximum effort. We come into the Dawg Pound as 3-point dogs with a back-up QB and a chip on our shoulder. RGIII on the sidelines with a hoodie and headphones still being the team leader. Captain Kirk running the pistol and the B&G kicking ass.

Cousins outrushes Richardson!

Telling the Browns that Cousins is starting ahead of the game doesn't provide the Browns with any advantage over not telling them that.

I like that Cousins is starting. Yeah, I want to make the playoffs and this hurts our chances, but risking a more serious injury to Griffin is even more risky.
