Apparently, since it has been "announced," the appeals process has already run its course and he'll be lost for the balance of regular season.
John Keim wrote:He will miss the rest of the regular season and will not be paid. He’ll be eligible to return if the Redskins make the playoffs. The fact that the suspension has been announced means that Griffin already has gone through the appeal process.

Ah....missed that. Thanks.ACW wrote:FLWSkin wrote:Ah...the Seattle suspensions had been announced....????[/code]Seattle fullback Michael Robinson, one of the Seahawks' players union representatives, said he was concerned that news of the suspensions leaked out before the appeal was heard and about how that could influence opinions.

Funny that is the first thing I thought when heard about the suspension.Bob 0119 wrote:We beat the Giants on Monday and by Tuesday we have another player from our defense suspended.
Coincidence?

Did a quick glance at Wikipedia, finding that more than a couple of NFL players have been given 4-game suspensions for taking Adderall. Most amusing was a player who claimed to be taking it to overome nervousness whenever he had to give a speech.
Philthadelphia Fillies note: Adderall was the drug of choice for Carlos Ruiz...recently suspended catcher.
Oh, and Redskin Dan v1978, my son, just got a job as a caseworker in the Missouri department of child protective services, working in a county that he calls "the meth capital of Missouri". Evil stuff.
