Morgan gets death threats after miscue

Redskins wide receiver Josh Morgan revealed Wednesday that he received death threats after his costly gaffe late in Sunday’s 31-28 defeat at St. Louis.
“I heard everything, especially when they got you on Twitter and they’re sending you death threats,” Morgan said, “and wishing bad on your family, your first born. You see it all, hear it all. You don’t got no choice. But you never let it get to you, especially me being from DC.”
“It’s all over my Twitter.”
Indeed, a quick look at messages directed at Morgan on the social media website including name calling, racial epithets and at least three death threats, including ond that read, in part, “I will kill you in your sleep you [expletive]…”

It should have been a double flag. While I would hold Morgan accountable, no way can I blame him. Finnegan is a nasty player and the real refs would have put an end to his dirty play sooner. I for one wish JM would have Andre Johnsoned that sob... Like I said earlier- but now the highlight!
Why would anybody be so worked up about a death threat????
I have received a few in my lifetime. Some of these threats have come from criminals who could actually execute them (or send somebody to execute them). Others are just screams in anger.
The key to handle threats is simple:
The objective of a threat is intimidation. You just do not let them intimidate you and carry on with your best job.
I would be more concerned about people who want me dead and DO NOT make any effort to intimidate me with threats. THAT would be a concern but I think I would know if I put myself in that situation.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

That said, I'm surprised he's still on the team...
While he didn't 100% lose the game for us..... he sorta did.
He didn't loose the game for us, he just lost us an opportunity to tie it or win it. That doesn't justify threats.
- I hope that the information about the threat is forwarded on to the NFL security guys - IF this threat was through a twitter account then there's a good chance those guys can track this idiot down
I'd love to hear that they located this guy and sent him to jail to have some fun in the showers for a few months
what a loser
if anyone knows who threatened Morgan they should turn him in or they are no better than that scum themselves
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

you prove once again RIC, that you are some sort of "secret operative" currently or from years past......... Things that make you go: hmmmmmm (mission impossible theme playing in my head)

The truth is that RiC is actually employed by . . . well, let's just call it a "special interest" . . . that has since Snyder's acquisition worked to undermine his ego and restore order to the state of the franchise.
It is work that takes him all over the world and to the UN. If you ever hear him talking about that stuff, just know that he'll try to make you think it has to do with world peace, international border disputes, or some other crap.
You heard it here first, though: he's on a mission to restore the glory of the Skins. It is a years-long undertaking, but slow and steady progress is being made. Gibbs returned . . . Art Monk finally made it to the HoF, Vinny is now gone . . . you don't think these things were the result of Dan "Incompetence and Greed" Snyder, do you?

Does anything really justify death threats? just wondering
Well I screamed a few at Haynesworth!!!
What he did to the Skins was FAR worse IMO than a guy trying to win a ball game and losing his temper at intimidation and piss-poor officiating....
Seriously, nothing in sport warrents that reaction, no.

Those type of fans should just move to Phily!
I'm not surprised he is still on the team! MS doesn't let emotions cloud his judgement (unlike Morgan).
Morgan didn't lose anything. It isn't like Cundiff would have made a 47 yarder! I'm more mad Morgan gave up the first down by trying (and failing) to get more yards. Had he got the first down and thrown the ball it would have been first and 25 (maybe even 1st and ten, just 15 yards back.
If you ask me people should be more mad at Robinson for dropping that long pass that may have gone for a TD. Or mad at the D for deciding not to even try to cover Amondola.
Still don't know why MS didn't have the team take a knee instead of trying an impossible (for Cundiff) FG. Taking a knee or kicking the FG, both plays were giving up.
