Maybe we can make Joe our holder.
I'll start another conversation for left tackle.
My nominations:
Joe Jacoby
Jim Lachey
Chris Samuels
Any other legit nominations before I create a poll?

Big Jake.
Although, Jim Lache was better for a short period of time, but didn't ps3 st that level (for the Skins) long enough to take the top spot.
Samuals has more PBs (see how much they are worth) but I can't vote for a guy that wasn't a dominant run blocker. CS was soft.
Both guys were more talented than Jacoby, but you don't play the game on talent alone! Jake was nasty, mean, and people got way out of his way on the counter tre.

Even though it was a shorter period, Lachey was better. Since this is for the all-time team, I have to go with Jim. That's not to say I think Joe's not a great choice, I just want the best of the best for the all-time squad.skinsfan#33 wrote:Jim Lache was better for a short period of time, but didn't ps3 st that level (for the Skins) long enough to take the top spot.

I will bring this to the top a few more times to see if we have any more legit nominations for this position and then I will make a poll - probably within a day.UK Skins Fan wrote:Shall we ask Boss what he thinks? I feel sure he'll have an opinion...........

Jim Lachey. So nimble that LT could not take him one-on-one. Never did. Could not go around, got flattened if he tried to go through Lachey.
Giants finally had Taylor wait for someone else to rush at Lachey, then sent Taylor around.
Summary: Jim Lachey was so big, so strong, and so quick-footed that the Giants double-teamed him.

LOL. Love that last statement. Joe Jacoby was like a NHL-style enforcer cross-bred with some psychotic DNA from Richard "Jaws" Kiel...which made for a scary package if one lined up across from him, I'm sure. Great for us though.welch wrote:Jim Lachey. So nimble that LT could not take him one-on-one. Never did. Could not go around, got flattened if he tried to go through Lachey.

Talent-wise, Jim Lachey was the complete package. Supremely gifted, strong, long-armed, excellent footwork and balance, and a mean, explosive run blocker. I would put him in the top spot purely because no other LT in Skins history has left me feeling so sure that no one was going to blindside our QB. Lachey was not going to be beaten no matter who he squared up and broke down against.
Tough call though. JJ had so many intangibles...I loved watching that guy play.

Jim Lachey. Some of the youngsters here may ask: How good was Jim Lachey???
He was so GOOD that Lawrence Taylor had to be often moved around and hidden AWAY from Jim for him to stand a chance to get a sack.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
