say what - I guess he's realizing that there are going to be a lot more changes on the O line here
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Locklear got an exit meeting that matched how bad he played here. The real question is why he was allowed to make the team. He stunk it up in pre-season.

Shanny allowing him to stay on the team could also point to Shanny's main flaw - sticking with guys who have the ability even though they show they cannot get the job done.

Locklear, years ago, was a top tackle. He has size and played in Seattles ZBS. Seattle let Locklear go for a reason and typical Shanny felt that he could motivate the guy. Remember the acquisition of the Cleveland Browns' defensive linemen. What was Shanny thinking then? Same thing he was thinking with Locklear.

He must have really liked those Seattle exit meetings. The ones where the coaches and Front Office sang Koom Bai Yah & roasted marshmallows after a losing season.

Hmmmmm. Maybe they had a team exit meeting and they didn't invite him?

Maybe Mike had to hurry home. Maybe he is Shotty without any love. Did any other 'Skins tweet anything similar? Any other players around the league? I wonder what these are typically like at other parks.

Just heard on the news that the exit meeting wasa Talk from Navy Seals. Cooley said it was Awesome. Fletcher said that he was in awe of listening to them talk about commitment.

Locklear was right that there was no coaches or any FO people, but interesting that Cooley and Fletcher, guys who will be here next year, that it was awesome.

Rich Tandler's Blog:
According to media reports, the Redskins had an unusual end-of-season meeting today. Mike Shanahan did not address the team with some members of the military speaking at the gathering instead.

Some players, like Roy Helu, seemed to like this format. Another, offensive tackle Sean Locklear, apparently did not. He tweeted the following:

Locklear was the primary backup at tackle but by the end of the year he was mostly a spectator as Willie Smith and Tyler Polumbus filled in for injured and suspended tackles. He is a free agent after the year.

Update: About an hour after the above tweet was posted, Locklear had deleted it and had posted the following. You can decide which one reflects his true feelings.

Asked for comment, coach Mike Shanahan said: "I talked to Sean after the game and obviously he must not have liked my speech, obviously he must have been disappointed in it. But I’ve only been doing it that way for a number of years and he must be used to a different way. I apologize Sean, it will never happen again … at least not with me."
Anybody think that Locklear will be resigned for next year?

There is obviously more chance of Heather playing here in 2012 than Sean
