Great Article. I can't wait to see this guy back in action!! I think we need to keep Jim as DC to keep consistency in this Defense. Jarvis is gonna be a BEAST!!!

Thanks for posting. Can't wait to see how Shanny handles the next draft and can't wait to see Jenkins back on the field.

Jenkins and along with Kerrigan, Hankerson, Paul - Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, are part of the foundation that Shanny is building through the draft.

I'm biased, because I never wanted JH hired, so I would be happy if he was gone, but i'm ok with him coming back.

You don't have to keep DCs for consistency's sake. Thed quickest way to improve a defense is replace the DC with a better guy. There in lies the problem. How many great 3-4 DCs are out there. I wanted us to get Wade Phillips lsat offseason but you couldn't justify canning JH after one season.

Back on topic, I'm really excited to know JJ will be back next year.

i think at this point with our franchise i'd rather see consistency behind a pretty good yet definitely flawed DC than switching coaches and schemes so much like we have on offense for so long.

Think of how much better our defense is going to be once we get Jarvis back next season. That was a serious blow. I know he hadn't proved himself yet, but clearly he was going to be a great fit.

i am optimistic about Jenkins but i also think back to 2010 training camp when all we kept hearing about was how GREAT Kareem Moore looked and how he was the star of training camp. that did not transfer into the real games at all and now he is already gone and an afterthought. so we'll see what comes of Jenkins.

Hiring Lou Spanos would not be a loss of consistency. I do not however suggest replacing JH
