Obstructed View Seats at Fed Ex Field
What do they mean? I see a bunch of them available at Stub Hub. What makes the seats obstructed and how bad is it? Thanks for any information.
The obstructed seats are seats that Synder added under the overhang of the 300 level. These seats are on the 200 level. I believe they start with the 13th row. Most of the seats are not too bad. You will not see the ball when it is punted and you will not see the scoreboard in most cases.
You need to ask more information when you buy these seats (call the Redskin ticket office. Like I said most of the seats are not too bad, but a lot of the seats have a pillar blocking some part of your view.
I had season tickets on the 45 yard line in section 221 row 18 and they were great. The pillars framed the field so I was not obstructed at all except for the punts and scoreboard. There are TV monitors so you can see the action and replays.
Even though I liked my seats, I personally do not like being under there, because, I feel that I miss the game experience of seeing the crowd all around the stadium. I rather sit in the nosebleeds than there. That is why I gave those tix up.
The cheaper those tix go for, the more likely they are more obstructed than the others.
If the tix say, "limited view" only the overhang obstructs your vision (punts and scoreboard).
Again, call the ticket office before buying these seats, that way, you will know for sure what you are getting. They don't sell these anymore, but there are seats with a pillar directly in front of them.
Hope that this helps.
