Brandon Lloyd
So apparently the Broncos are desperate in trying to deal Lloyd somewhere. What is going on?

They ended up getting a 6th that might escalate to a 5th. We got just about as much for Haynesworth.
Hmm. This makes it seem like something else was up.
You know Irn, I was thinking that this was eerily familiar like when we signed him as a restricted free agent and gave up two draft choices. He was the best receiver on the 49ers at the time- making acrobatic catches and the Niners couldn't wait to get rid of him - we took the bait even though we were warned. The team has a horrible season and Lloyd is a problem child.
Today, Lloyd is (was) the best receiver on the Broncos and was making acrobatic catches. Hmm! Why do they want to get rid of him? Now he goes to a team in the process of a horrible season - much worse than ours in 2006 - "The Problem Cometh Again: Part III - the Final Chapter (Hopefully)"

From NFLdotcom yesterday:
Michael Lombardi wrote:"The Broncos' decision to name Tim Tebow the starting quarterback likely will have a domino effect on the offense that begins with WR Brandon Lloyd and also could include WR Eddie Royal, according to NFL Network's Michael Lombardi.
"I think they have to trade Brandon Lloyd," Lombardi said Sunday on "Gameday Morning". "They knew going in that you put Tim Tebow under center Brandon Lloyd's effectiveness within the offense is not going to be there. Plus, his contract is expiring at the end of the season, he won't be in Denver."
Lombardi sees no shortage of suitors for Lloyd, the NFL's leading receiver last season."

I agree - "good luck Brandon Lloyd"
there is an old cliche - "history has a habit of repeating itself" - hopefully St Louis can help this V talented player because he does not seem to want to be as good as he can be ..... except when it suits him
good luck with Brandon Lloyd, St Louis - it would seem that you're going to need lots of it

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

You mean like his attitude wore thin? That's what I'm thinking anyway.
Hail to the Redskins!

Brandon Lloyd is like a lot of NFL players - they don't get that they are a part of a team
the team is sometimes better off without a player that thinks the team would not be as good without him
a lot of 'great' NFL players do not understand that they don't make the NFL better - the NFL gives them the opportunity
the NFL does not need Brandon Lloyd or players like him - Brandon Lloyd needs to appreciate what he's got BECAUSE of the NFL

Yeah the had Royal on the market at the same time and I think they are still trying to move him.
The Broncos also mentioned Orton in trade talks, looks like total rebuild

Lloyd wanted Tebow as QB in the off-season AND a new contract, he got neither and asked to be traded. Denver said no until recently. BLloyd will be reacquainted with the guy that signed him and drafted Tebow then-Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels. McDaniels' system is what put Lloyd at the top of the stat sheets last year. Not the same system that Denver now runs.
