Below is my original post. In the OP I said that it's not apparent when they made the swap. Someone else pointed out half-time. The slipping stopped at some time during the game.

Helu, Hightower, D-Hall were slipping left and right. Especially our RB's, because they like to plant and make that initial cut. The running game was abysmal last night and that did not help.
chiefhog44 wrote:Thirdly, this thread is about someone suggesting the players waited until halftime to change their spikes, as if they were in the locker room and helped retape the players. So, unless you were a fly on the wall in the locker room at half, or you heard one of the players speaking about it, or you WERE the equipment manager in the locker room at half and you helped replace the shoes, you have no business discussing something you have no idea about.
Somebody else mentioned that was when they noticed the diference. Yes, speculation.

What? That we're speculating and discussing something that happened during the game? LMAO. Hello sir, nice to meet you. This is the internet and we're currently located on at a forum. This is where you discuss, speculate and debate. That is the purpose of this magical realm of 1's and 0's.

Your problem is that you're getting hung up on this whole half-time thing. Toss that out the window. Myself, and anyone not named Stevie Wonder saw MULTIPLE players slip, MULTIPLE times. By the 3rd time your RB slips in a game were the running game CANNOT GET GOING, something has to change. That's the root of this discussion. Be it in the 1st qtr, 2nd qtr or not at all.

You keep harping on and on about testing the surface out pre-game. I don't give a flying you-know-what about pregame. If during the real game, you know, the one that counts, you are slipping are your players are slipping. Someone needs to grow a brain and make a change.

Ok sorry. Proceed and speculate, just trying to tell you how things go down during the game. If you had that experience, you would think this is laughable as well. Sorry you take offense to me laughing at the people posting in your thread. My problem is not getting hung up on anything but continuing to come into this rediculous thread. Be gone I am. Oh and by the way, i'll let you waste your time and listen to Shannahan pooh pooh the question at yesterday's press conference. Too bad I can't shut people up like he can when these questions come up. I tried though.
Miss you 21
