Agreed.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

He did it earlier too, doesn't know when to pull it back. It's not a coincidence when you are a perennial top 5 pass defense and then all of a sudden you get toasted every game. It means you're too aggressive.

I am.
The QB is the difference-maker.
Sorry... all Hall needs to do is play fundamentally sound Corner for ONE FREAKING PLAY... and the game can be ended. You don't have to like it... but THAT was the play.
I think I'll save the rest of my opinions for tomorrow, after I cool off. Suffice it to say the Redskins continued pattern of pathetic 2 minute drill play, and weak Red Zone offense contributed to giving the game to a far inferior team... but it was Hall who cut the head off of the victory. I see folks blaming the blitz call... well, folks... Haslett is relying on a "pro bowl" corner to play sound football... Sorry... it's on Hall.

amen. buy your own plane ticket home and head for the unemployment office, Jim Haslett. a 7-man blitz on 3rd and 21 when you have the lead in the last few minutes and they are on their own end of the field is literally, without hyperbole, the worst defensive call i have ever seen, by a wide, wide margin. anyone who would make that call, which was literally the *only* chance they had to win the game, is so inconceivably awful and nonsensical that anyone who would make it has no business being anywhere near the playcalling headset.

all the mistakes that the pukes were having on offense - they still managed to win - this was not about 1 defensive play
how about the stupid long run by Jones - why couldn't someone just make a tackle and how come the ref missed the obvious hold on that play
there were many things that contributed to the loss
we had it and let it get away
no worries - we're still 2-1 - we're keeping this franchise headed in the right direction
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

he should never have been put in that position in the first place-- there was absolutely no REASON to. they had basically NO chance of victory if we simply drop back and play coverage. big-blitzing was the only chance they had and Haslett was too damn stupid to understand that. he has no business calling plays.

Yea Haslett is an idiot. Any corner one on one vs. Dez Bryant has an astronomical chance of losing that battle. Why invest in DE's if youre going to send 9 people every play?

"We played hard! They got the bounces! We're rebuilding! Different than last year!"
No. I give up. I just give up. I've been saying that line for year. But it is just over with. I'll still cheer for the Redskins, but it's official. We are awful.
Eventually we'll suck bad enough we'll get an elite QB and shift our fortunes. I thought it had changed this year, but it hasn't.

B) if you are asked to make 5 field goals, you make 5 field goals. Don't mess up the snaps or the holds or the coverage or shank it.
C) Beck > Grossman, because Grossman has no athleticism whatsoever. He has the athleticism of Patrick Ramsey, the pocket awareness of Jason Campbell, and the arm of Mark Brunell.

It's one game guy. We'll get them in November.
We said this about last year against the Texans.
The year before we were awful from day one.
The year before we said it against the Steelers.

i usually watch and listen to a lot of football talk all week while i work in my shop. now all of that will be utterly unwatchable because of exactly what you mentioned. will have to figure out something else to listen to.
For all of the talking heads gushing about Tony Romo this week, perhaps they could point out that the reason the Pukes won the game is because our punter imitated Tony Romo on a field goal attempt.

hard not to agree. cvillehog (who i know in real life) can tell you i got a little concerned when i saw that Arizona lost to Seattle yesterday... i thought "uh-oh what if that win didn't really mean anything other than that we barely beat a bad team?"... this was a putrid performance tonight. not optimistic at this point. maybe we can still end up being bad enough to draft one of the QBs coming out.
This sucks. There's no doubt about it, but we're still 2-1. Now we can see how/ if this team can bounce back. This loss is inexcusable. WAY to many chances to put this one away. Time now to get back to basics. Hopefully this loss will wake this team up. Don't believe your own hype... Prove it.

Careful! That train of thought has already resulted in one ouster this year!

that is the one point i will grant-- i was going nuts about this in the 1st half. what was going on??? didn't they bring other shoes??? did it rain there earlier or what????

That is hilarious but unfortunately true. You forgot to mention that he has the ballhandling ability of Dave Krieg.

I'm still a Redskins fan. Just these losses are so common. Other than last year in Week 1 against the Cowboys, I can't remember the last time we had a legit huge victory.
