I doubt he'll make the team, but as a Wolverine our experience was he's a good kid. I hope he does.tribeofjudah wrote:Obi ONE1niksder wrote:Former U of Michigan LB Obi Ezeh will sign with the Washington Redskins, his agent said today

The wolverine I'd love to get is Edwards though. He does have drops, but he makes up for them and he's a physical receiver. With Edwards, speedy GonMoss and Gaffney we'd have a pretty decent receiving corps with different styles, which makes it hard on the D.

Question, my esteemed ladies and gentlemen: is anyone else concerned about Kerrigan playing in space at LB? Is Shanny and/or Haz planning to just use him primarily as a rush LB, or drop him consistently into coverage? I looked for something on this in other threads but didn't see it (which probably means it was the second thread from the top...)
Thanks for your responses, if any -

SB 17 - 22 - 26 - ??
Shanny said he liked the way he moved in LB drills. Of course that was without pads.BigRedskinDaddy wrote:Ahem -

Fair enough. I'm sure they'll start him situationally and then work him into more schemes as he's ready. I took your question more to be what's the long term plan rather then the initial plan. I'd think he'd be rushing more as the initial plan. Long term he has to do both. Based on his Purdue days, I think he'll get there and be a good choice for us.BigRedskinDaddy wrote:Thanks yup and Kaz -
I'm concerned that his coverage inexperience will be exploited in space. I think he might do better as a purely rush backer, but of course that limits his snaps. <sigh> Better minds than I have surely figured this out already...
