since he's been released, I think we should take a shot at this guy if he doesn't command too much. Him and Torain would be an awesome one two punch...he might wanna go somewhere where he can be a feature back though...

I'm with you bro, I like D. Williams.. if he's smart, because of his last injury, he should sign with a team to do a 1-2 punch.. he may not think like this but it may help him have a longer career. Plus if he even thinks of coming here he'll need that other RB because NFC East defenses are brutal!

He's been on the Panther's roster which he was NOT the featured RB. He was the starter but his backup got a lot of carries even when he was healthy.

I would love to see us pick-up Williams. When healthy he is a beast.

Deangelo would be CPs replacement IMO, though I understand people want CP to stay. Deangelo had similar YPC numbers before he got hurt but obviously with a lack of a QB it was almost impossible to get receiving yards.

Deangelo is the only FA that makes sense right now, the others on the list don't seem like a good gamble to me.

Based on several articles I just read it sounds the Panthers want Williams back and he wants to be back there.
