Browns fired head coach Eric Mangini.
Club president Mike Holmgren met with Mangini at 9AM Monday to give him his walking papers. His two-year run in Cleveland ends with a 10-22 record, and a four-game losing streak to close out the 2010 season. Mangini has been linked to the head coaching vacancy at UConn. Assuming Holmgren doesn't return to the sideline, he is expected to give long looks to Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg and ex-Panthers head coach John Fox. Monday Night Football color analyst Jon Gruden would obviously be a sexier choice, but it's not known if he wants out of the TV booth.

Those games they lost down the stretch is what did him in. If they had won those I think he'd still be there. Not too sure about John Fox though, he should take a year off to chill.. I say this because dude's been with Carolina from the beginning and .. oh heck, I don't know... don't care either. To hell with cleveland and mangini.. LOL
