Dennis Morris?
So we signed another fullback today. I was always very high on Dennis Morris since we drafted him, really thought he was a diamond in the rough kind of guy coming from LaTech. I believed that with a year or two with Sellers leading the way he would be a smooth transition, except with hands and a little more athleticism. We signed another fullback, and D-Mo is currently listed as the 3rd FB on the roster. Any insight?

It doesn't look like they'll keep the guy. We should have seen him by now.

I don't think anyone has any inside information. The FB position is a dying breed in the NFL. The issue is that a lot of teams are converting LBR's to FB and then if need be, they put them back on Def. So, not sure if that helps but no one has really said anything about him. Not sure if he's not doing the right stuff at practice to even make it on the field. That would be my assumption.

practicing and playing hard during the time you spend in training camp is one of the best ways to make sure you make the 53 man roster
seems like a fairly easy formula - it's not a path that many of these very good athletes choose to follow - most think they are better than they are

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Not a bad strategy at all. All three of those fb's look like they can play in the NFL, especially Conner. I would love to see him leading the way for CP.
Suck and Luck
I'm not ready to give up on Dennis Morris yet guys. You should watch his draft video on youtube. The guy was an absolute beast! I think we'll see him out on the field in the near future.

After they moved young to FB they asked D-Mo to move back to TE.
Has the guy gotten any pre-season reps. I have heard virtually nothing about him since they drafted him.

Everyone has seen the video. it's the only reason we are talking about him now. He's been quiet in camp so far. I don't think they're giving him reps at FB. Just TE and mostly as a blocking TE.
I believe they envisioned him as Sellers backup, but then a week ago, they asked him to move back to TE. With Sellers out, maybe he'll see some more time at FB soon.
Build through the draft!
