Panthers

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Panthers

Claussen and Moore looked pretty good out there last nite. I was impressed especially with Claussen's poise and pocket presence. I have a feeling he's gonna be good if he can fully adapt to the NFL speed.

One thing that did bother me a bit was his throwing motion. It looked like he was pushing the ball out as opposed to throwing it. Ball didn't have much arc on it. Don't know if that'll be a problem, but it just looked awkward.

The one guy on their team that impressed me was their new defensive end... Grant, I believe?

He has a fast motor and has a good nose for the backfield.

I honestly wasn't impressed by any of their quarterbacks and thought Clausen and the o-line looked pretty bad.

I agree Jake. I think the commentator's were being homer's on Claussen. I know he's a young kid and all but comparing apples to apples - he's got a lot of work to do.

Also, that new placement of the referee is going to create a lot more calls against the offense. Panther's were killed on holding calls last night.

Yep, that's the guy. I think they said they called him "Mini-Pep" in college because he played a lot like Peppers. Not a bad guy to pick to replace the man himself.
