What did I miss?
So, I had occasion to travel to Texas recently for work; specifically, I flew into Dallas/Fort Worth and drove about 2 hours to a little town called Stephenville. I spent about 7 days there over two trips in July, and I'm going for another 6 days in August.
One thing I noticed while I was down there, relatively few people decked out in Cowboys merchandise, at least relative to what I see in the DC area. Now, perhaps it is because high school football holds so much sway in that part of the country, or maybe it's because football season hasn't started yet. Or maybe it's just selective counting. But I thought it was interesting that I didn't see one Dallas Cowboys hat, bumper sticker or t-shirt while I was down there.
I did, however, see lots and lots of TV coverage about Tony Romo and his "viral video."
What's your theory?

Welcome back cville. Good to see you around. I was in Dallas for a week last year, about a mile from where the Mavs and Stars play. Most of the employees at the customer site I was at were Cowboys fans (although one, ironically enough, went to high school with Doc Walker), but there were no Cowboy screen savers or desk art. There was one guy that had a picture of his kid in a coaboys onesie, but that was about it. It was really bizarre.
RIP 21
