I agree with Vet...he has served his debt and has a right to work...if no team wants to employ him...that's their right.

Leonard Little is still playing and he killed a person

You're forgetting that a lot of these people believe that dogs > humans. They'd throw their own child in front of a moving car to protect Lassie.

I wouldn't want Vick simply because I never felt he was that great a QB to begin with.

He was more like an RB that could occasionally throw.

Other than that I got nothing against the man, but I do believe a team would be foolish to pick him up as a starter, at least for the QB position.

Then again, he might be good in that Wildcat offense, so y'never know.

I specifically didn't say he can never change, I said I see no reason to believe he has changed. Try reading my post.

Specifically stating my own opinion is "judging" for "God?"

Wow, even having my own view and stating what I THINK is "judging" him and only God can do that?

Kaz wrote:I believe that no individual is better than any other individual...

So in your view, no one can have an opinion that Mother Teresa is better then Adolph Hitler and even to have and state such an opinion while twice stating it IS an opinion is usurping God's right to "judge?" Got it, sorry I don't feel bound by that idiotic view from your post and I reserve the right to both have and state opinions.

You raised the law which, I just pointed out is made by the two major parties for their own personal objectives rather then anything to do with truth or righteousness, and that's me starting a political debate? Who did you THINK made the LAW that YOU raised? If I'd said, "This is an example of Democrats..." or that sort of thing I could see your point, but when you raise legality just to POINT OUT that the LAW is made by POLITICIANS with personal objectives which makes it hard to support just because it's the law makes it a POLITICAL debate?

This is straying off topic. If we are going to continue the merits of Vick and his redemption I would encourage a new thread in the lounge.

He paid his debt. Honestly, the man went to prison a federal "PMITA" prison.

But CLL is right, some people care more about dogs than people. They'll be outraged if we sign him and he'd have to constantly apologize... Leonard Little killed someone! Pacman Jones (now released) beat up a stripper and one of his bodyguards paralyzed someone, Tank Johnson had enough weapons in his house to take over Canada... Even Lawrence Phillips got a second and third chance...

But Vick probably won't.

Still, he won't even play QB again. What an athlete though, he could contribute in the NFL as a receiver, a kick returner, a Reggie Bush type... I mean, he's still got a lot to offer.
