Hognostications '08?
Am I missing something or are hognostications off this year? I can understand if no one wants to tackle such a big task, but I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something.

We are still in discussions about hognostications this year. It is a major undertaking and the person who handled this is not around. Looks like nothing will happen till week 2.
Announcement to follow.

People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....
~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

Thanks, but no thanks.
The staff and I are discussing it and will post some sort of results when we figure it out.
Obviously we won't have picks for week one, but we'll have some sort of notice posted early in week two.
Thanks.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Apology
Dear Mark and fellow Hogs,
I wish to apologise to all for not being able to contribute more to the work of the website throughout the off-season and now through the regular season. I have different personal and professional issues that are consuming most of my time. All of these issues are good and some quite challenging but they are keeping me away from the NFL. Perhaps equally importantly, I also do not feel that my views on the situation at the Front Office of the Washington Redskins should spoil your experience in this website.
Let me take advantage of this opportunity to thank Mark and all the moderators past and current for giving fans an opportunity to voice our views. Keeping a site like this one alive in light of many family and professional commitments means a lot of VOLUNTEER work and I have appreciated every opportunity given from the first day that I became a member of THN. Thanks also to Frank Hastings, THE official and original Hognosticator, for doing a wonderful job over the last few years. Please keep up the good work all of you and I will certainly try to return throughout the season as opportunities arise. I look forward to become active again in the future as family and work allow it. Thanks again to all.
Hail to the Redskins,
Redskin in Canada
PS All the new avatars look awesome NC. Thanks for that work too.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Picking against the Redskins, even after the fact, makes you subject to ridicule.

I knew someone would comment but from my previous posts of disgust with our performance in preseason, it was obviously clear they'd win. Those are the picks I made in yahoo fantasy after the last preseason game we had, no lie. Now I did not do it for money so of course I hoped that I would lose that one. I also have us winning against the gnats at home after we been through some more weeks of getting our stuff together (hopefully).
JF, I feel you though, but I'm just being real brutha.

He's lucky that RIC isn't lurking much right now... ouch! That would be brutal.
