Anyone Here From Dallas??
I'm lucky enough to have to spend next week in Dallas on business and I'm curious what there is to do. Anyone have knowledge of the Market Center area that can recommend good but not too pricey places to eat? Anything interesting to do there, should I find myself with extra time on my hands (not likely)?
RIP 21

These are all great places to eat, depending on what you like. You won't have any problems finding things to do. The DMC is the largest wholesale market.
Suggestion: Take some cash. You'll likely find something you want at a good price.
Hope this helps.

Sweet. I'm staying right on Harry Hines Blvd, so I'll be sure to check those out.
Is the DMC like a big open-air market, or is it just shops like you'd see in downtown DC?
One things for sure, I'll be wearing this around town...

4 buildings. The World Trade Center, the Trade Mart, the Floral & Gift Center, and Market Hall. The complex is over 7 million square feet (100 acres), so if you have time to kill, there is a lot of walking you could do.
(Truthfully, I just wanted to post that pic again)

And, in case you were wondering, I'm not from Dallas. I've just had the unpleasant misfortune of being there on business several times.
