Will Demps (Dislocated Elbow -Out for Season?)

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Will Demps (Dislocated Elbow -Out for Season?)

Post by The Hogster »

Just saw that Will Demps dislocated his elbow and is out for the season. I hope that the diagnosis that Marcus Washington should only miss two weeks is accurate.

It just seems like a wide disparity.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

Demps said he hoped to be ready for the season opener. He did play that well last year and had lost his spot to James Butler. It's not that he can'y play, but they won't start him. Putting on IR means they can turn around a cut him with a injury settlement and get out from under that $12M deal they gave him about a year ago. It's a Cap hit versus Performance choice they had to make.

This was MW had to say today

JLC's Blog wrote:Marcus Washington (dislocated elbow) said he still hopes to play, and is wearing a brace, but it's still not 100 percent certain that he will play. They'll see how he gets through practice this week.

It's a matter of what damage was done to what ligaments in the course of the injury. Marcus appears to have truly lucked out, even if he misses one or two games.
