Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

I think the yellow helmets with the modern facemask and other gear and the way they would fit is going to be awesome if they do it.

I dont think that is going to happen. When they had the 70th, everyone knew they were going to switch uniforms a year before that season, but who knows?

I hated those yelow 'R' helmets. They were traditional for about...two years? One?

Give me either the Indian Head ('72 - 06) or the 60's side-arrows (Sonny and Sam and Charley and Bobby's helmets)

Thank You! Hated 'em. The only thing of Lombardi's design I didn't like. Yo, Vince... we ain't the Packers.

OTOH, he did discover that rookie blocking back, Brown, had a hearing deficit... and, so began the magic...

I think we should put a hog on the helmet. A hog with the cheif head dressing on. That'd be cool.

Lombardi also inadvertently changed the Skins uniform from burgundy to our current pseudo-burgundy. He was partly color blind, and once he had made up his mind he was too proud to change it, insisting that there wasn't a difference. :)

The jerseys are available on NFLShop.com and CBSSportsline.com.

They seem to be the real deal although the team has made no announcement???

Because they probably have some elaborate ceremony to make people desire for the jersey even moreso than they are now.

Rumblings are there will be no announcement -- not even advance word as to in which games they will be worn. Seems Snyder wants it all to be a big surprise.

I think it's great for a couple of games.... not a steady diet .... I still have memories of ole number 55# "close lining" in those uniforms.

It looks like these are only available with existing player numbers and names at this point. I wonder if this jersey will eventually be available for customization?
I've been wanting a "Clark 84" for some time now.....
