Strahan: Eli Must Mature "Now"

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Strahan: Eli Must Mature "Now"

Post by Fios »

Even the Giants players are getting tired of the promise not matching the performance.

"You don't say, 'Well, we can win in two years or three years.' I don't have two or three years right now. I'm thinking of winning right now. They say Eli (Manning) is going to mature. Well, I need him to mature now. The thing about this season is that the sense of urgency is greater than it has ever been."
RIP Sean Taylor

The difference between Redskins' park and the NY locker room:

Redskins: We are very impressed with Campbell's progression. He looks like a different player, and he's going to surprise a lot of people this year.

NY: When is Eli going to mature? We don't have 2-3 years. . .

I like when other teams in our division throw each other under the bus! Let them destroy each other from the inside out then we can come in and finish them off.

I love it! I think at about week 3 or 4 Eli will start to lose his team..........But, maybe he's already started!

I don't think this was meant as an attempt to dis his QB as much as he would like to think that Manning not only understands the need to improve but that that time is now
However, that being said, I think the NYG team will have a difficult time starting well this season with 4 away games in the first 8 at Dallas, WASHINGTON, Atlanta and Miami and the other 4 home games are Packers, Philly, Jets and 49ers.

The press could start to make life difficult for both the coach and the QB if they look a little shaky going into the 2nd half

BTW, I have never felt that this was a good QB for this team and I do not think he or Coughlin will be there next year.

Our second game with them is 12/16 after they play the Bears and Eagles on the road
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

He never had it, especially with his arrival being all snazzy.

Eli has a mess this year w/ no running game, an overrated TE, and receivers not worth even mentioning by name. They are sure gonna miss Tiki, but I'm not

Eli was a bust from the moment he cried about being on the Chargers! Who (other than horse boy John Elway) would complain about being on an NFL team?!?!! Especially one with LaDainian Tomlinson? The Giants were dumb enough to trade for an immature little boy so they are stuck with one for 2-3 years trying to get good...

LOL!! Eli Manning Sucks!! Plain and Simple!

What an idiot. Eli had the chance to play with probably the best running back in the league. Eli looks like a fifteen year old out there with a decent arm. He will never be like Payton. I bet he wonders ever night what if he played on the Chargers. Now the Chargers are a force in the AFC. What a joke this Eli guy is. His pops always has to come in with his two cents as well. Geez this Eli guy is a baby. Oh man I cant wait to see what goes down in NY this year. Always cheers me up to think about it.

to mirror what everyone else has said, eli sux. not to mention the fact that the guy NY traded(rivers) is actually turning into a decent QB. karma is a mofo. couldn't happen to a nicer team. (other than dallass) and it also couldn't happen to a nicer father and son. they are both tools.
