Well... the fins only scored 15 points a game last year, so yeah, you'll have to limit the opposition to 14 or less or you'll end up on the losing end of almost all your games.

You added what to your offense? Trent Green and that's it? He's going to make the offense infinitely more dynamic is he?

You think it's funny that people think that the Skins might have both a top 10 offense and a top 10 defense and blow you out. But some may find it equally as laughable or more to think that Ronnie Brown is the second coming of christ, and that the Fins were Super Bowl favorites last year. Find me a booking house that had those kind of odds, because I want to bet aginst that stupid a house. Just give me a link to show me where i find the 2007 SB odds listing Miami near the top.

Hey just out of curiosity... have you ever thought of something called 'depth'? What are the Fins going to do if say... Ronnie Brown blows a knee at camp or in the pre-season?

We'll be scared to death to have to face Lorenzo Booker or Patrick Cobb. I mean, they had a combined 0 attempts for 0 yards last season... we'd be doomed.

And what about QB? I mean Green spent most of last season on the bench nursing injuries, is Cleo Lemon the answer? Because it's very doubtful that Culpepper will remain in Miami, so you've got Lemon and Gibran... and Redskin fans know that Gibran is a great guy and all, but he hasn't exactly lit up any NFL fields.

What about that stupendous receiving corps? How will we ever cover Chambers and Booker? Those guys are like Clayton and Duper.

Your offense is average WITHOUT any injuries... with a few... it's near pathetic.

You can mock us all you like, but when you come here with nothing but blather and bad info, you're just going to look uninformed.

And as for SAYING that your team was a 'favorite' last year... that doesn't make it a fact. I'm not really sure how you figure it's okay to just make crap up, but when you do, people tend to take EVERYTHING that you say as pure garbage.

The Dolphins line last year was +- 7 games. What Super Bowl contender ever got there by going 7 and 9 on a season? The Dolphins were 17-1 odds last year, the Redskins were 13-1... so not only were you not 'favored to make the SB', you weren't even 'ranked' as high as we were. And you don't see anyone here walking around spouting garbage like, 'we were favored to win the Super Bowl.'

In your attempts to make, nay exaggerate a point, you've made just about every word that comes from your keyboard come off as pure, unadulterated trash. Thanks for coming out.

My 2 cents

Now, now, now... no name calling.

Besides... I was in a good mood.

These days, I really just try to sit back and let people spew their garbage in whatever manner they see fit, but occasionally, I just feel the need to try and inject some semblance of truth to a thread.

This was one of those instances.

Yes, I'm just an ignorant balbbering fan who knows nothing. You 2 should go grab a room.

You don't think Green is significant to our team at all? Just tell me this, did you watch any Dolphins games last year? Harrington was horrendous, when he did play well, the offense rolled. He was very good vs. Detroit and didn't turn the ball over, as a result we scored 27 points. We also have a restructured line, if that works out, we'll be much better. We also have Cameron calling plays rather than moron Mularky, that's a HUGE difference right there!

I'm sure it all sounds like trash to you, but when the Fins beat the Skins, it will all be fact.

Mark my words, folks. Chris Cooley is gonna catch 3 TDs in the first game this year and Portis will run for one while Moss catches 1.

Score: Skins - 38, Fins: 17

And it took you eleven days to come up with that? Wow.

Actually, if you read my post, i just said that I don't think Green will make them infinitely more dynamic. Is he a better option than Harrington? Sure, if you assume that he'll stay healthy and not sit on the bench injured like he did most of last season. At Green's age, it'd be a bonus for the Fins if he stays healthy, but it is most certainly not a foregone conclusion. And I think the Fins are dead in the water if anything happens to TG.

Since you didn't address anything else, I'll assume that you just didn't have any answers or that it was just easier to close your eyes and hope it all went away. Sorry to throw so much logic at you at once.

I love it when people get all offended by someone from the opposition not seeing what they write as gospel. If all you've got is bluster and bravado, then sit down.... we're under no obligation to buy into your schtick - especially when you can't answer your way out of a wet paper bag.

As i said, a significant injury at QB or at RB or WR will likely bury any chances that the Dolphins have of being successful... and while that doesn't guarantee failure at all... it's a precarious position for any team to be in.

And that's without even considering the requisite grace period that teams need to learn new systems when a new coach is brought in.

And what about the whole 'Super Bowl' favorites thing? I noticed that you're just skipping over that as well. If you want to spout garbage, don't be surprised if you get slapped in the mouth with a dose of reality around here. We're not here to help you feel better about your lack of knowledge or worse still, your trumped up knowledge.

I thought they only made one change on the line.

Anyway. We have one of the best O-lines in the NFL. Imagin your D against our O-line, Your not going to get many, IF any sacks at all. Then look at your line against our D. I hope that Trent Green is a sprinter!!!!!

There are new players at every position in terms of where we ended the season. Our LT is new, Vernon Carey shifts from RT. Chris Liwenski or Drew Mormino will be the new LG if we can't acquire Pete Kendall. Rookie Samson Satele takes over at center. Rex Hadnot slides from center back to his original RG position. LJ Shelton started the year at LT then moved to RG, this year he's our RT.

Lets break this down.

" LJ Shelton started the year at LT then moved to RG, this year he's our RT."

 Wow. We've spent a year of training with one guy to change out of his natural position because its really hard for a big buy to change his stance, and foot work, and leverage on the line from one position to another. This guys moved all over the place and you think thats an improvement.

Maybe you should just let Brown be QB also.

"Rex Hadnot slides from center back to his original RG position. "

The only place that there might be a slight improvement, if at all because he goes back to his natural position. But he is still the same guy.

"Chris Liwenski or Drew Mormino will be the new LG if we can't acquire Pete Kendall."

You don't even have a clue who will be playing at the start of the season...

"Our LT is new, Vernon Carey shifts from RT. "

Another guy changing positons.

You got me on thas one. The line is much impoved...

Haven't you ever heard that the longer O-linemen play next to the same guy at the same position, the better the line is. You sound like the fins have been playing Chinese fire drills with their O-line!

The changes you listed may pay off in November or maybe even mid October, but don't expect that line to perform well from day one.

Bring some of your budies to are site, so we think better of the Dolphins fans.

Cooley has scored 3 TDs in a game before!

The last four games Campbell started the Skins averaged 23.5 points/game and that was against 3 playoff teams. I'm going to let you in on a little secret, this is the first time in 6 years Campbell gets back to back seasons in the same offense and he is looking fantastic right now.

Be afraid, be very afraid!

With the improvements on Offense we should have and if our D rebounds to their 04-05 form it could a very long day for the Fins faithful!

Yeah I understand linemen need continuity and consistancy in the gelling process with one another. That's probably why it takes our line half a season to really come together and play well, I just hope that's not the case this year. I won't lie, I'm concerned about the line, but if they hold up, the Fins will be very good.

I don't know why you have to take that last shot at me, just keep it about football dude, no need to get personal.

Yes, I think after this season, people will consider Brown a better runner. So right now, he's not, because he hasn't proven it yet, but he'll prove it this year.

I don't care what he has done in past games against other teams. I'm talking about doing it to a defense that only allowed 3 TDs in a game 5 times last year, how will one player do it himself.
