Cowboys looking to trade Julius Jones

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

I think Marion Barber is the better back anyways, Jones seems to have injury issues although his brother sure has gotten better as his time in the NFL has gone on. If I remember right Thomas was considered a bust. I hope whatever move they make it backfires and they are a worse team for it.

Remember a few years ago when Jones was basically Tony Romo last season?

He strung together a few good games (on national TV) and before long people were comparing him to Emmitt Smith.

Jones was never that good and I'd be willing to bet that in a year or two the Cowboys will be looking to unload Romo as well.

my thoughts exactly. they needed a back worse than just about any team out there, and not one RB was taken before they picked. man i was pissed, i knew they had the steal of the draft..... and then the trade with STL popped up on the screen. couldn't believe it when it happened. whats funny, most of the puke fans tried to defend the move.... ROTFALMAO

What blows your mind is that, if Dallas really wanted Julius off the roster and
was seeking a trade for him, why not take Rhodes off the FA market first? It
would seem like the clear logical choice, that in Rhodes you would be getting
the better back, and with the draft pick you get for Jones..You could easily
use it to maybe move up and gain another first round pick

#-o ....see what i mean.... now it was still a good move because he can be easily replaced and will net more draft picks too.

yea, i mean all of this potential for trades and "what if's" are worth so much more than having steven jackson...

either that, or are you still trying to say jones is a top tier back???? ROTFALMAO

What makes you think he isn't replaceable? I can think of several backs who
are easily better than Julius Jones, Dominick Rhodes, LT, Alexander, Dillon, Mcgahee, Duckett, Williams and those are just naming a few, Of the guys who I would easily add to my roster over Julius Jones

You forgot Tomlinson, Larry Johnson, Clinton Portis... I mean if you're just going to randomly name off guys that play for other teams...

You also forgot Steven Jackson.

ROTFALMAO

Drew Henson and Julius Jones are going to put Bill Parcells back on the NFL map.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

I bet that list of 'backs better than Julius Jones' would have been a lot shorter before this season began.

I can't say that Dallas has been scaring me with their personnel moves this offseason. Not exactly brilliant front office work.

Talk about pushing a retard down a flight of
stairs, wasn't it obvious I was talking about
Tomlinson/LT abbrev? Or maybe you were
dumb enough to believe I was talking about
former Giants LB Lawrence Taylor
