I guess we have a cool bunch on the boards tonight. Everyone was too busy partying to use this thread. lol.
Anyway, I thought Payton played a good game... but I would have made Rhodes and Addai co-MVP's instead. It's so easy just to select the winning QB as the most valuable... but without Addai and Rhodes, they wouldn't have been able to keep the momentum.

Speaking of Golden Child, I felt bad today when I watched a story on ESPN about Peyton Manning's older brother... who I had never heard of.
It must be rough on a guy to be a great athelete, have to quit early and watch your two younger brothers become professional quarterbacks.
In any case, I would love to be able to sit down with Archie Manning and ask his advice on how to raise and NFL quarterback. I want to retire early. haha.

Amen, I've posted this in the past but I just don't get the venom directed at Peyton. He is the best quarterback in the game, nice to see him get a ring.

I am happy for Tony Dungy. He deserved to have won one Superbowl in Tampa and they fired him. But life puts everybody in the place they deserve to be in. He is a great coach. He is a man of character.
Some may argue that he won due to the group of players he had around, mainly Peyton. I will disagree. It was a team effort and coaching that lousy regular season defense into a respectable post-season unit deserves a lot of praise.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Also, to be so close and not get it in years past had to have taken a toll. For them to CONSISTENTLY make it back and for them to finally one speaks volumes of his character and the players faith in him. The talent on your squad means jack if you can't utilize it. He has a young team that plays well together, they could possibly go on a run...

I was mad that the Colts won. First off I wanted the Bears to win because there is someone in my family that is a Bears fan, so I wanted a team that one of my family members was a fan of to win, but also the Colts are a bunch of crybabies. Does anybody remember when the Colts beat us the Redskins after the game they cried about how we played dirty. I wish the Colts would have gotten a good butt kickin.

Yet another Superbowl goes by, with me thinking; are the Redskins really not as good as these guys? A couple of mediocre teams, I thought. Neither of them would have got anywhere near the Giants, Redskins or 49'ers teams of the 80's / 90's. Sour grapes? You bet.
