Hognostications NFL Week 7

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Hognostications NFL Week 7

Post by Redskin in Canada »

Not a good day to start the Hognostications for NFL Week 7 but, quite frankly, ANY other day of this week will be just as bad. You can always start thinking for now and make your actual picks later in the week.

The deadline of this week's picks is:

Week 7: Friday October 20th (9:00 PM)

Games to be played this NFL Week 7:

Sunday, October 22 (ET)

Lions at Jets 1:00 PM
Patriots at Bills 1:00 PM
Panthers at Bengals 1:00 PM
Eagles at Buccaneers 1:00 PM
Steelers at Falcons 1:00 PM
Jaguars at Texans 1:00 PM
Chargers at Chiefs 1:00 PM
Packers at Dolphins 1:00 PM

Broncos at Browns 4:05 PM
Cardinals at Raiders 4:15 PM
Redskins at Colts 4:15 PM ( YIKES! )
Vikings at Seahawks 4:15 PM

Monday, October 23 (ET)

Giants at Cowboys 8:30 PM

ONLY a victory on the road against one of the toughest teams with a formidable offense and great defense in a loud indoor Stadium will renew my enthusiasm on our prospects for this season. Yes, I will pick the Skins to prepare to win and to do so -even- if I am the ONLY crazy soul on earth that truly believes that such a task can be really accomplished.

Come on Joe!

Hail to the Redskins!

As soon as I wake from this nightmare, I'll be picking the Skins. (You won't believe it - I actually had a dream that the Redskins lost the Titans last night! Ha ha - sometimes my imagination does crazy things).

I will pick the 'Skins every week, regardless of our record or my personal Hognostications record. That's just the way I roll.

Anyway, we typically play to our level of competition. We suck against the bad teams, and are competitive against the good teams. I happen to know we will beat the Dolts, just because of Colt-swill-on-you's trash talk for the past two weeks. Too bad he won't be around to eat his crow.

Please keep us posted on next Saturday's dream, will you? Thanks in advance.

You know that this is true and it makes me SICK to my stomach. I do not have any ulcers yet. But I may end up with one before the end of the season.

I am proud of you guys.

I submitted my Counterpoint article with my picks a few minutes ago. Check the Hognosticationspage later in the week for Texas Hog's picks as well.

Enjoy and hold on to your hats.

I missed picking last week again, the season is done for me, so my only motivation is for the Perfecto. As such, I also realize that Perfectos are only obtained by picking the big upsets (Like Titans beating the Redskins....) :explode:

Therefore it actually makes sense for me to pick the Skins again. The sickness of it all (or maybe my sickness, anyway) is that I have this funny gut feeling that they could actually do it. And all I have to do is look back to last weekend for my "inspiration"

So far, twenty three (23) Hognosticators have placed their picks for this week. The good news are that nineteen (19) of them have picked the Skins to win. I am proud of each and every one of them. I mean, virtually no Redskins secondary against Manning and Harrison?

There are only four exceptions: ATL1, Jake, Jeremy81, and Justice Hog

I am not sure about ATL1. I do not now whether he is a Skins fan or not. He could be an Atlanta Falcons fan for all I know. BUT the other three ...

... are TRAITORS. Two of them are repeat TRAITORS and Jeremy81 goes to the Dark Side for the first time this season. Jeremy, please do us all a favour and change the number from 81 to 00.

The HALL OF SHAME welcomes these three TRAITORS for NFL Week 7.

I think Jake is picking against the Skins now out of spite. And if he uses the ol' "I still want the Skins to win" line, just ask him how much cheering he did last Sunday as opposed to boos.

*runs*

I know you're kidding, IB. lol

My booing doesn't mean I don't want the Skins to win. It's a simple display of frustration.

And this week, I just don't see us beating and 5-0 team on the road when we can't beat an 0-5 team at home.

I can see where people are coming from with their upset picks and the fact that the Skins could go in there and kick their butts because of how PO'd they are of losing.

But I just don't see it happening.
