Rod Gardner cut by Packers

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Rod Gardner cut by Packers

Post by BossHog »

This quote made me laugh...

Green Bay gave Gardner a $100,000 signing bonus to re-sign in March, but in the end the club thought so little of him that they didn't even want him as the No. 5 wide receiver.

Looks like 50/50 might be the best odds you can find on him ever cracking another NFL roster...
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Heck, the Vikes and Eagles could use him!!!

Maybe he needs to put on 25lbs and become a TE...

He's probably done. He couldn't hack it with Washington, Carolina, or Green Bay, none of which had deep WR groups when he was there.

Two best Gardner lines ever:

Two years ago at camp... HS, NC and I were all standing around watching practice when DEHog walks up and says, 'Hey guys... I just saw Gardner coming out on to the field... Brandon (DE's son) tried to get his autograph but he kept dropping the pen.'

ROTFALMAO

And I can't accredit this one to anybody because it just 'came from the crowd' and ironically at that VERY SAME practice when RG surprisingly dropped a pass...

"You've got hands like a snake Gardner!!!"

ROTFALMAO
