Jets Sign Walter Rasby

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Jets Sign Walter Rasby

Post by tcwest10 »

No link yet...it's in this morning's NY Post. Remember him? He had that mildly exciting 2001 campaign where he found the end zone twice, nothin' doin' the next year...got cut and came back for a little while in '04.
He was in Pittsburgh for a while last year. Nice enough guy. Good for him.

You guys don't get it...

When "the Danny" purchased the Redskins he paid more than $800M for them, He got the stadium, the team, Redskin Park, and both minor league teams (Jets and 9ers). In the past we have called up guys like Randy Thomas and John Hall and they have worked fine. Others were such great moves We had to send Chad back but he got lost and now plays for the G-men (by the time he got back to NY the Jets were done with the stadium and the Giants were there Chad didn't know any better). When Coles was sent down we were lucky to be able to call up Moss the same day. Patrick has been sent to the minors in NY but we are primarly working with our west coast affilliate this off season

The best to come out of the NY farm club was John Riggins.
