well its about that time.. time to start organizing your fantasy draft picks!! theres a lot to think about a lot to consider; should i take larry johnson first or clinton portis? should i give up on edge in arizona? should i pick vick again to stick on the bench for the whole season? oh the questions just keep coming...
my real question is about wide outs.. i know TO is still a top pick and people are saying santana is going to have a slower season as there are more options for brunell but those two are not my concerns..
which wide outs are going to put up numbers on bad teams.. who can i steal, who will get double covered all season and never see a ball, which wide outs will be frustrated with brett farvre??
i need help. i have my whole game plan set up but choosing a pair of wire recievers is killing me.
please help!

I am in a quandry as well. First, I do not think you take Portis with the #1 pick. You have to go LJ. Edge still has great value in Arizona, probably top 7 RB's.
..
For some reason I think both Santana and Steve Smith are going to have lower #'s this year. I still like TO as the #1, Harrison as the #2, Holt, then Chad Jackson. I heard that Antonio Bryant was tearing it up in San Fran so far. He may be a good sleeper.
Now I have a question...in one of my drafts I have the #5 pick. I assume LJ, Alexander and Lt will all be gone (not necessarily in that order). So what if #4 picks Portis? I can't take Tiki 2 #5 because 1.) he is a Giant and 2.) I do not think he will have the #'s he had last year. Do I Pick the Edge or flirt with Lamont Jordan??

you might want to think about rudi johnson... hes gonna have a solid year again his numbers will stay about the same but if portis is there then go for it..
edge is dangerous... their line sucks
id also stay away from tiki, not that he would be a bad pick but i dont see him getting the numbers he did last year... that was his best year ever and its not gonna get any better for him
today i did my draft and i got portis and rudi johnson, i think some of the people in my league are slow .

Dude, you guys should not rely on others for information.
Sure they can be the "So Called Experts" but they can't see the future and neither can you.
For example, everyone says Larry Johnson is going to have 2,000 yards this year?!?!?!
Why, because he had a good '05 season. CP has just a good of chance as LJ to get 2000. Heck fricken Steven Jackson or whoever can get 2,000 yards with a few good games. Ala Jamal Lewis.
If you are going to play Fantasy Football, that means you probably know something about Football so just go off that. Don't rely on other people for your picks.

I undestand and agree with you but part of the fun with fantasy is discussing players and listening to the opinions of others. You make decisions based on your thoughts but listening and discussing others views is not a bad thing. Incidentally, this works out well in real life too.air_hog wrote:Dude, you guys should not rely on others for information.
