Question about going to the draft
I will be in New York from Friday untill Wednesday May 3rd. I wanted to go check out the draft for a little bit, I have all day Saturday with no plans. Has anyone evey been and how does it work? can you buy a ticket? or is it free to view? I know we don't have a first round pick but I would still like to see and feel the excitement of the draft. Any insite would be appreciated.

Is it still in MSG? Or did they move it to the Javits center? Anyways, I went down to the city for the Sean Taylor draft and had a great time! The only snafu was that it used to be free and all you had to do was wait for hours outside the Garden for them to hand out bracelets. Unfortunately, that was the first year that handed out tickets the day before. My friend (Jet's fan) and I had to buy 2 tickets off some dudes for $50.00 each.
It was fun! Got to boo Eli Manning and I sat maybe 40 ft away from Chris "He...could...go...all...the...way!" Berman. Enjoy!

I would rather spend the money going to Virgil Ribs on 44th Street between 6th and 7th avenue. If you like down south (mouth-melting) barbecue and beer, that is. $50 bucks will more than cover you with a full rib rack to be divided between you and a companion.
Do not ask for hot if you can not really handle it (they mean it). The mild flavour has a smokey bourbon smell and flavour that is making me hungry right now.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Thanks for the info, I will go check it out. That sounds like a better time then the draft. but, hopefully I can find a way into the draft for free.

Well, I found the info about how it works if you ever want to go to the draft. Here is the link if anyone is interested. I will be there to check it out, I just wish we had a low pick.
