Oh and everyone always expects huge talent out of a third round pick? I think not.

ey was a diamond in the rough because he was great value for where we found him. His quality way exceeds his place in that draft.
No, you're wrong.
The TE class was VERY deep that year, we were lucky that

ey dropped to the 3rd round but he was a safe pick, especially for the role we wanted, H-Back.
It was no surprise to anyone that he was able to be a productive weapon in a Joe Gibbs offense.
How can a guy be a diamond in the rough when Joe Gibbs had him scouted all along and traded a pick to get him?! That doesn't make sense.
And thanks for the lesson in logic, clearly saying that Randle El, a small reciever with the same weaknesses as Moss without half the positives isn't what we need is a huge knock on Moss!
You WANT two DT's who are 6-3 300 pounds and have the same skillset, you want two OT's who are the same size with similar skills, you don't usually want two recievers the same size with same skills, you want a balance, like the Skins had with Monk and Clark in the late 80's early 90's.
And hkHog, you're confusing size and playing ability. Randle El is almost 200 pounds according to some sources, and he's quick but not a burner with his speed. He's a playmaker with the ball in his hands because he's agile, but he's not going to burn by people like Moss... so in short, he's like Moss without the speed or separation ability.
Hines Ward is 6-0 215, and he excells at making the catch in traffic, he plays much bigger than his size and he is probably the best blocker at WR in the NFL... he's not very explosive and isn't much of a threat for YAC but when he's single covered he can muscle for the ball.
He is a totally different type of WR! That's why the Steelers are so successful, they have two different types of weapons who cover up for the shortcomings of the other WR!
If Randle El (5'10'' 192 pounds) was built like stone and could make the catch over the middle in traffic and fight for jump balls in single coverage then he would fit, he would compliment Santana nicely, but he doesn't so I don't want him.
Besides, his price tag will be too high.
