Man if Vinny picked Ladell over Portis, I would go with DE Hog over to Vinnys house and slap him too. LoL.

No biggie big guy :)

But a lot of Denver's backs come out of later rounds and they have, at least for almost a decade, found gems. I wanna put a spy cam in their scouting conference room :)

There amazing running backs are directly the result of their great offensive line, of course Portis is a great back regardless. I cant think of one back that played after Davis (which were numerous) that hadnt played great with the Broncos. Remember Orlandis Gary? He had a good year when he was called to start but look at him now, he sucks in Detroit. Because Detroit has a crappy line and hes only a mediocre back (and screwed me over in my fantasy league).

Perhaps the best player that we did not take over betts when we had the chance was Antwan Randle El, who had a great rookie season

Redskins4Life wrote:How in the name of God would we be able to land Portis? That guy is only 22, has excellent speed, and is a beast at breaking tackles. Hes only been in the league 2 years but has had 2 1,500 yard seasons. I cant imagine Denver would trade him for even our 1st 2nd AND 3rd round picks. Tell me the possible Portis scenario please!

yeah I agree, especially that post ROTFALMAO
