Okay, eating up clock, Philly will get the ball with 2 time outs and the 2 minute warning, needing 7 to tie. Our D can handle it!

Why did we take a time out that we'll most likely need at the end?

I don't agree with that. Just hike the ball with 1 second left. Don't waste a time out.

Play smart in the secondary. They dont have any super talented WRs, they will only get a long play if WE make a mistake.

It makes no sense to me, we use timeouts liek they're unlimited. We lost that chiefs game cus of a lack of timeouts.

My thoughts exactly ... NEVER use up your Timeouts when you're only one score ahead !!!

Message to the defense: We aren't going to want to stop the clock again b/c we aren't relinquishing this lead.

Folks, I'll say it again. We're WINNING the game. So Joe wants to call 3 running plays in a row? It eats up CLOCK, keeps it away from the Eagles, gives the D a chance to catch their breath, so that they come out fired up for their next series. Yes, the penalty hurt, but I still don't really see a downside here, with the way the defense is playing.

If you are trying to take as much time off the clock as physically possible, calling a timeout makes sense. It's hard for a longsnapper to time his snap perfectly with the playclock. That doesn't mean it's the right decision, just saying...
I'm bored, I'm broke, and I'm back.

We need the 12th man right now. From the first snap on this drive until we get the ball back.
