It feels so good to be 1-0. I know it was against a bad team and I realize it was an ugly game but still we won. I sat in my seat for a good 20 minutes after the game soaking it in.

I thought the defense looked great. Sure the Bears are one of the 2-3 worst offenses in the NFL, but it was still very impressive. If Antonio Brown doesn't fumble that kickoff we most likely would have shut them out. Any shutout in the NFL is an accomplishment to be proud of regardless of the opponent.
I know the big topic this week will be Ramsey/Brunell and who should start on Monday. Put me down as being in the Ramsey camp. I know he makes mistakes but the team is so much more of a threat to move vertically with him in the game. It seems like every Brunell pass heads towards the sidelines. And I don't want to hear this Ramsey makes too many mistakes excuse for why Brunell should be in there. Of course Ramsey makes a lot of mistakes but don't you people remember the first half of 2004? Who fumbled that ball against Tampa that Ronde Barber returned for the Bucs only TD? Who fumbled that ball against Baltimore that Ed Reed returned for a TD? Who threw a pick to Jerry Azumah which was returned for their only TD? Brunell, Brunell, and Brunell. The guy makes tons of mistakes too. So the Brunell maanges the game and minimizes mistakes argument is very weak to say the least. Look neither one of these guys is going to make the Pro Bowl anytime soon, but we have to deal with what we have. I say Ramsey is the better player and the QB who is more capable of taking advantage of our two new deep threat WRs. He is the guy that should be in there assuming he is healthy. However, I will always trust Coach Gibbs with any of his decisions.
I love the new 2-headed RB with Portis and Betts splitting carries. This should allow Portis to stay fresh longer in the games. In the 4th quarter when the Bears D was sucking wind, both Portis and Betts looked good.
I want Moss to return punts. I know that it might not be smart because he is our #1 WR. I just feel like a player like him needs to be given as many touches as possible during a game, especially touches in space. Our defense is so good that they force 6-8 punts every game. That's 6-8 touches Moss could be getting. It's a risk but I think it's one worth taking. I know Antonio Brown has a lot of fans on this site but I think he is worthless.
I am very worried about the K situation. I've never been a big Hall fan but if he is hurt we could be in trouble. We haven't had much luck signing K's off the street over the past....umm....decade.
Monday's game is going to be tough. You know every 50/50 play will be going the Cowboys way. It always does. In my writeup of predictions for every game I had the Cowboys winning a close one but I'll still be rooting like crazy for the Burgundy and Gold. I always do.
Let's finally beat these (word that can only be used in the Smack forum)
I also want to thank Boss Hog and all the other moderators for the work you all do on this site. I really appreciate it. Keep up the great work!
Hail to the Redskins!!!
