Isaac Hilton

Post by Redskins4Life »

Theres this one DE from Hampton named Isaac Hilton. I've never seen him play, but i've seen a picture and the guy looks like hes very athletic, and about the size of a Jevon Kearse.I've read from numerous sources that hes very fast, and even read somewhere he runs a 4.38 in the forty and weighs about 250. Thats incredible. Anyway, since hes from such a small school scouts predict him being a 3rd-5th round pick. If we can sign Jevon Kearse in FA, and pick Hilton up in one of the later rounds I think he could develop into a premier pass rusher in the league, especially if Jevon Kearse provides a little mentorship. Has anyone seen this guy play or have any thoughts about getting him?

It's ironic that you bring up this guy. He was mentioned in another thread:

I guess he's really good to be mentioned twice and coming out of Hampton.

Just found this on one of those draft websites. It says hes very raw, and needs to get a bit stronger. Those are two things that can be worked on.

If he puts on 20 lbs of muscle he could be another Dexter...

We should take a serious look at this guy. He has amazing speed from what i've read, and strength is something that can be worked on. If we can pick him up in the 4th or 5th round, we might have found ourselves a great DE.
