Riggo!

Post by BossHog »

Wondering why a thread on Riggo is in the Lounge and not in Hog Wash?

Because Riggo is Photo Hog and I's new puppy!

I won't spoil Photo hog's fun and post many details except to say that we got him from an animal rescue place here in town. We waited a bit after losing our good friend Coda, but we're happy to have a new buddy.

Here are a few shots of Rrrrriggggoooo... as you can see... we picked the ugliest puppy we could find. :-)

He's so well behaved too.

I heard he's potty trained on most days, too.

He's such a cutie! And by the look of his paws Riggo is a good name. He's gonna be a big fella! ;-)

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.......he's sooooooo cute. I'm so glad you got a new friend. He'll never replace Coda but he'll become just as much a part of the family and he'll love you unconditionally.
Love the name too....although...shouldn't he be more gray ?

Great name, btw! Congrats!!!

Cool dog BH and PH. I'm going to get a dog this spring. We lost our old dog last year and the time will be right for a pup.

Yup -- he's pretty darn unbearable!

Riggo came to us from a rescue organization. Apparently, the owners were going to shoot the mother and drown the puppies (5 total). Do People REALLY do that sort of thing????? :explode:

Riggo lucked out, that's for sure -- he landed in a great home! And he's been working really hard at driving BossHog CRAZY during the day. I get to work outside the home so I don't have to know every single little thing the monster gets himself into! Oh, and our cats HATE him! But, they hated our dear friend Coda too (for the entire 10 years of her life!).

RS74 -- yeah, you've been in my thoughts since Riggo came home. Especially since he got his name! I just keep seeing your Kirby with his Riggins shirt. :) Your new buddy will be waiting when you are ready!

Warmother -- I am sorry to hear about your loss too. Spring is a good time! What the heck possessed us/me to get a puppy in December in CANADA??? ](*,) (and one who appears to have HUSKY in him... #-o ) I HATE the cold!

Oh well, too late now -- I was jonesing for a dog!

No such thing as an ugly puppy BH and Taz, well at least after a few beers anyway.

No -- they are my sneakers! (womens Size 6) So he's not THAT big! He's currently 9½ lbs.

@ Boss: Riggo is one beautiful pup! What exactly do you feed him? If I feed the same thing to my Jack Russell, do you think he'd get that big :hmm: Ahh I better not, the last thing I need is a Jack that big with energy that one quit and that can leap buildings in a single bound.

We feed him vegetarians.

As for being able to leap small buidlings in a single bound... riggo has no Jack in him, and he can already do that. The boy can jump pretty darn well for a gangly, dorky dog still trying to grow into his ears.

He's a pretty boy... and he's so well behaved.

I noticed there's no shoes in the picture. Did you hide them from him or did he eat them?

He's actually been REALLY good about not eating anything. I can't complain about that at all.

I mean dang, the Rotty ate a couch, most of the underlay for the carpet in the living room, a lot of Taz's shoes, or at least the foam underneath the insole (which usually meant that she wrecked the shoe getting to it)... Coda ate everything.

Riggo hasn't eaten much that he shouldn't have... he did try to eat Taz's cactus.

He likes to take my insole out of my shoe, but he doesn't eat it... that's likely just a stink factor because he likes to sniff my butt when I fart:

In actuality the only problem with him is that he's too darn smart and likes to act dumb... bad combination. :thump:

Really? That's pretty brave of you, considering BH said everybody up there lives in an igloo. It must get cold.
