Great quote by Phil Savage

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Great quote by Phil Savage

For all the heat Snyder has taken in years past, you have to question the front office moves of the Broncos this year.

All their acquisitions this year are longshots, hoping they hit on just one. If this were Belmont Park, 99 times out of 100 they end up leaving broke.

The Broncos are starting a collection of former first round picks, cast offs from other teams.

Courtney Brown, Ebenezer Ekuban, Gerard Warren (all from the Browns), Ron Dayne (NYG)

Savage (Brown's new GM) is taking some heat for the Browns trading three and losing one of their players to Denver. This is what he had to say.

"I'll say this: Those four linemen were on a defense that was ranked 32nd in the National Football League. Somebody tell me what the big to-do is. If we added four linemen from a team that was ranked 32nd in run defense, I think you guys would have asked me about that right off the bat."

I think Savage was dead on.

ROTFALMAO That's to funny to hear the GM say that, it's true and on the money but coming from the GM...it just sounds weird. I could see a coach saying that, but a GM should have a little more couth than that. Bottom line...this won't be a Coles repeat, those guys won't be welcome back nor will they want to ever come back. That's the Browns for you
