My Son Loves His Skins

Post by JansenFan »

My son is 2 years old and he is as big a skins fan as they come. His favorite players are Gibran Hamden and Brandon Noble. I was fortunate enough to be able to take him to multiple days of camp as well as the New England game. Unfortunately he left there saying "Brandon Oble has boo boo on leg". I will post a few pics for those that are interested. Got his picture with Jon "The Rock" Jansen, Arrington, Champ, Matt Bowen, Ramsey and Gibran Hamden.

I also was fortunate enough to meet Dave Fiore. I was very impressed by him. I was standing in a crowd of autograph seekers. There were several children and a few adults. Time was running out and he told us he would do the kids first and then come back for the adults if there was time. Most players just stand there and sign whatever is put in front of them, even though it's usually an adult pushing a kid out of the way.

By the way, I am trying to start a Jon Jansen fan club. I have created an MSN group page to start gauging interest, so if you are interested please join. I contacted his agent about making an official club, although a week later, I haven't heard anything back. Please have anyone you know that might be interested, The more interest I can show, the better the chances. To join, please follow the link below:

I voted for 8-8 because I just don't see the Ball Coach adjusting to the NFL game. That's just the way he is.

OF course, I'd rather see 12-4. Heck, I'd just as rather see 4-12 than ANOTHER 7-9, 8-8 or 9-7 season.

"Brandon Oble has boo boo on leg".

... classic kidspeak. Thanks for the chuckle.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Man, I guess I'm the optimist here. I'm still thinking 10-6. I have not gotten turned off by preseason. I think our offense will start really heating up.

Hopefully our defense can hold them to 120 yards running a game...Hey, the Chargers in the early 80s would win by scoring more than the opponents - seldom did it take them more than a 3 minute drive to score. That was a fun team to watch!

I think 10-6! I think these guys are pulling an elaborate hoax in the preseason  Seriously, I hope they'll gel together and we'll all breath a bit easier.

HTTR
Go Skins! For 10-6 or higher!
