My understanding on Allen and his time in TB is that when he was brought in, he was in cap hell. He managed to fix the cap but there were huge restrictions placed on him by ownership where even if the cap were say $100m, he could only spend say $80m.

Okung wouldn't be a flashy pick but he is the best OT in the draft and has the makings of a franchise LT.

Javid Best would be sick to have with Shanahan that home run speed and play making ability. Spiller in round 1? No thanks we are picking in the Top 10 and he just isn't worth that.

Allen DENIED that he has had any discussions with Shannahan on Sirius NFL Radio yesterday. This suggests that HE, not Danny, is making the coaching decisions... and HE wants to chill the message. There are still 3 games to play.

I think it will eventually be Shanahan but I hope Snyder considers talking with Tony Dungy. He has worked with Bruce Allen at Tampa Bay. His style, demeanor, and character would be a tremendous addition to the Redskins.
