Skinsjock, its really that easy. Is Haslett the only problem?? Hardly. But getting rid of him will instantly improve our defense, I have no doubt about that. There were a few times on Monday night, that Jon Gruden said, " I just don't understand the scheme on defense. The players look like they ...

You also forgot to mention that Murphy gets doubled almost every time he's in the game. Check out the stats.

Re: Gameday Thread: Patriots-Redskins
That was Tom Compton on the punch out of the ball but either way, he was there to make the play. Too bad it was offsides on the Skins b/c the it was a redo on the kickoff. Good for ST players b/c they got another rep.

What sucks is the game is televised by the Pats. Hoping radio & TV are synched up.

Re: Skins Add Tommy Rees?
Just food for though. Sure Rees isn't similar to Robert at all but that's a good thing. There are lost of guys in the NFL that are pocket passers and Rees will give our 1st string defense a different look.

Re: Kirk Cousins trade - realISTIC possibility?
I'm happy they didn't. If you have a QB who has a history with injuries and one that plays with the same style as RG3, you better have a good backup QB. Cousins has upside while Colt McCoy is what he is.

Re: Trent Murphy
I'm not certain the coaches know exactly what they're going to do with him yet but based on his production and the amount of effort the guy puts in, I think he's the kind of guy that the coaches want on the team. Similar to London, he didn't have all the measurables. Wasn't a big name guy but while ...

Re: Satisfied with our Draft Selections...?
There's talent there to take the division but at the same time there is a grace period for a new coaching staff & a new offense being put in place. Defense, i have a feeling, will look a lot different and probably look a lot more similar to what we saw towards the end of last year when the DC was ...

Re: Saturday Draft Selections
Silas Redd was a starter at Penn State when the whole scandal went down. When players were given an opportunity to leave Penn State, he went to USC where he had an OK year. USC was a mess last year due to 3 coaching changes and a rash of injuries. Seemed to impact every player drafted this year for ...

Re: Saturday Draft Selections
Often times, high priority UDFAs sometimes take their time making a selection. Let things cool off. They usually only get say $5000 to $20,000 signing bonus so he could just be (agent) negotiating with several teams to see who will pay the most but more importantly, provide the best opportunity. For ...

Re: Saturday Draft Selections
My guess on the kicker is that he's going to be brought in for the Skins guys to look at and will be a camp body. Once the reg. season begins, he'll be reverted to the practice squad in case something happens to Kai. If he continues to show that he can play in practice and Kai gets hurt, you've got ...

Re: Friday night draft discussion
Read on twitter that a scout was noted as saying that he projects out as a center and could has the skills to stay there for a LONG time. My thinking is they bring him in and see how he does. Move Litch back to LG, have Gettis or Lavao & cut Chester ($2.5+M savings). All this is pending if Long can ...
