Re: Skins plan to speak with James Franklin

Honestly, I can't see why any major college head coach would want to leave to go to the NFL unless he would get a head coaching position. The money even at the head coaching level isn't much better (if at all, Saban makes as much as any NFL head coach for example), and the work hours and lifestyle ...

Re: Braggadoccio?

I thought Grant Paulsen put it best saying that Sally Jenkins is never around Redskins park, has not been to a practice all season, has never even met or talked to Robert, has no player sources on the team that he is aware of, and only attended two games all season in week 15 and 16.

Heh. I love ...

slow down Jeremy - you got 'caught' - grow up

The Chargers are not a great D but the Bengals had not lost a game at home and it is very clear to most of us that their OC is a good candidate for HC

that game does not impact his standing as far as who is available at all - actually it helps ...

Re: Bruce Allen as a Drafter

I just have to laugh over the idea that any of us here (or in the media for that matter) legitimately know anything about what Bruce Allen knows, what his limitations are, how the draft process with the Redskins works or will work, what Morocco Brown's role is, what Scott Campbell's role is, etc ...

Ummm... ALL GM's have limitations. Problems occur when you have a GM who doesn't acknowledge his. I'm fine with what appears to be the current trend at Redskins Park.[/quote]

Re: Next Please!

I would really like to see a defensive mind come in as a head coach. that way, he can let the OC focus on getting rg3 back on track. the HC is responsible for managing the entire team and I just have a feeling if an offensive minded coach came in to run the team, he would turn his focus on "the new ...

i've been a big Shanahan supporter all along until the last few weeks. I can't forgive his behavior during this debacle. The dude makes $7M a year. He's paid premium executive money to deliver a premium executive experience for the Washington Redskins, not himself. His me first, I'm always right ...

We really didn't. We kept their offense off the field for a good chunk of the game. We lost because of two big special teams plays and penalties.

the lost fumble on our own 4 yard line really hurt us as well

Rg3 had to have an internal clock. The Oline didn't play well but those fumbles were on rg3. Special teams is a joke, but I thought defense actually played alright. I think we're improving every week, but this is not our year.

I really feel good about Shanny "staying with his board" and not reaching for need. I feel like every pick so far can make the team. The Josh Wilson restructure was also perfectly timed.
