No. Players and Coaches only, a body selected by the NFLPA, perhaps consisting of all living HOF inductees plus a group of non-eligible retirees. THEY know who is good enough.

How come the Skins aren't eligible for any compensation (like draft picks) for Williams or Saunders?

Last I heard, we "released" them to look for employment elsewhere, but that they were still under contract through this year... so wouldn't we have the right to block any hire without compensation ...

I was not a big supporter of his in the past. But I feel he is the best option out there, for the Coordinators Vinney brougth on board.

Agree. Fassels NYG teams had a strong D. I credit John Fox for that. Not Fassel.

I think Mariucci makes some sense, though Fassel has the NFC East experience, as does Spagoulo.

But Mariucci (minus the Lions portion of his Resume) was pretty strong in SF. So that would be the best choice of the leading candidates so far.
