This was certainly my favorite quote from the article...

"The game has slowed down so much to me," Coles said.

Apparently he noticed too. I am definitely glad he is gone.

If we were able to trade Gardner to the Vikings I think it would help us out in two ways. We would pick up a mid round draft pick and we would significantly lower the prospects of them selecting a WR with the 7th pick in the draft. If the trade were to go through then the only team that I think ...

At this point, I would simply be happy getting anything in return for not having Coles on the team. We are certainly not in the strongest of positions to negotiate so personally whether we get a couple draft picks (preferably) or a former 1st round WR I would be pretty happy when all is said and ...

ESPN Coles Trade Article

Well, according to Pasquarelli there are at least three teams with serious interest in a trade. Somehow, someway, something will come out of this whole situation.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Several league and team sources attending the annual NFL predraft combine workouts confirmed for ESPN.com Thursday ...

Realistic Look at the O-Line

It has seemed to me that there is pretty much a consensus on this board that the O-Line is in poor shape. While I must admit that the line has underachieved over the past few... okay, several years, I tend to disagree that we need to put a tremendous amount of resources into that area. I feel this ...

Being as big a fan as anyone of Mike Williams I still must say that I strongly agree with BringThePain. I see no down side to signing Taylor so long as we do not overpay. He too was an early first round pick and has a lot of potential. Playing in Baltimore certainly did not give him a chance to ...

I am not really that surprised about the 4.43 coming out... he has certainly never looked remotely slow on the field before. As I have said a couple of times before (and by my number of posts you can tell I don't voice my opinion all that much) Mike Williams is a player that is incredibly gifted ...

I would have say no even if it was for cheap... I'd rather have a young cheap player who might become someone than a veteran who can only stop the run at this point of his career. The DE's we have now are great for filling lanes - if we add a DE I hope it is for a pass rush.

Well, based on the results of this poll so far it certainly appears that there are two main areas of concern - WR and the offensive line.

As far as which needs to be addressed first, it may be true that the line takes precedence because as many others have said, "without protection, it does not ...

I know that I am sounding a bit biased; however, I do not think that his speed will be an issue. Williams always showed a burst out of his cuts, ran very good routes as a true freshman and sophmore (he is still very young), and never appeared "slow" versus any competition. Not only can I remember ...

I am not sure how many of the people on this board were able to actually see Mike Williams play but he truely is a special player. Living on the West Coast, I get USC games seemingly every Saturday and the things he did while in the lineup were commonly unbelievable.

Williams completely ...

I do believe that Gallery will be taken before we make a pick. I was not trying to say that the two QB's and WR's were the best four players in the draft - simply they are players that other teams will surely be willing to trade up for. If Gallery or Taylor gets picked before we're up then one will ...

As far as I am concerned, it does not matter whom we take - as long as we don't take them at number 5. My reasoning for this is rather simple:

1. Over the last 3 years we have spent huge amounts of money on players. Though everyone has theories on future cap values and the like it must be ...
