Re: Anointed RG3 to be starter 2015 (short leash)
If this was a Gruden decision he never would've announced it now. This his Snyder meddling written all over it. No way this sits well in the locker room either.

Re: New full-time role for AJ Smith
I was expecting them to do something with AJ Smith, but this just seems so half a**ed. What is the big announcement here? Either make him the GM and empower him to make decisions or don't pretend like you've really changed anything in the front office.

Note on Collins post OSU game:

Allen is an empty suit with no real power and no ability, even if he had the power, to function as a proper NFL GM. That press conference solidified just how clueless and lost this front office is.

Re: Did you witness the whole soap opera this year?
I watched all the games on tv, but this is the first time in over 10 years that I haven't been to a single game. Also didn't buy any team merchandise. Watching the games was a combination of habit, fandom, and curiosity to see what new type of nonsense the franchise could come up with. But I can say ...

^ idk what makes you think there wont be a qb comp w Rg3 in the mix. Hes under cntract, and if he isnt the best of the three has flashes that he can be. He may not evolve into the qb he needs to be and lose, but to think he hasn't got a shot is a little puzzling to me; regardless of who is the ...

Re: Your assesment of Gruden in year one. What would you do
It's too early to pass judgement on Gruden. But in reality, it doesn't matter if Gruden is a great coach or a terrible coach because until the mess in the front office gets sorted out in doesn't much matter who we have on the sidelines. Get a proper GM, give him a couple of years to turn over this ...

Outside of Garcon and Kerrigan, no one on this team looked like they gave any effort.
That is a major problem which falls on the coaching. If you can't get the players to play hard for you, then you're not a very good head coach. I've seen this far too much this season. While I would love to ...

Man, I'm glad the interwebs weren't aroung in Joe Gibbs first year.
Joe Gibbs was willing to ADJUST to the players given to him after starting 0-5 and finished off the season STRONG giving the fans a good feeling for the future. Similar to Marty's year.

Re: McCoy will start vs. Colts
Because essentially our options are now a career backup QB who couldn't cut it in quarterback starved Cleveland, or a former 4th round pick who falls completely apart in crunchtime and was leading the NFL in turnovers while he started. Is anyone convinced they will be the QBs to lead us in the ...

Re: Ouch...RGIII "Coddled"
I'm sure snyder is less involved then he used to be but benching your "franchise qb" does not happen unless you have the owner and general managers blessing. I think Cousins would have won the last two games if he were starting personally. Cousins has turnover issues but at least he puts up points ...

Griffin seems competent, and can improve. The OL and DL seem hopeless, as now constituted. I stick with the Joe Gibbs Principle: give me guys like Joe Jacoby and Charles Mann (and maybe a defensive coordinator as good as Richie Peitbon) and we can beat anyone. Don't need an all-pro QB.

If you're lucky enough, you can find a guy who can contribute.
It's not just luck. Some teams are better at scouting, put more resources in scouting/evaluation, etc. You don't fine as many late round contributors as the Seahawks have by being "lucky."

Huge fan of the Moses pick. Not a big fan of the other two, particularly Spencer Long. Seemed like a big reach there. Very reminiscent of the LeRebius pick which hasn't worked out for us at all.
